In the event of a battery incident, firefighting water is directed under the vehicle, directly at the battery pack. This cools the battery and helps the system limit further temperature increases and escalation.
At the same time, targeted lateral water distribution cools surrounding vehicles and structural components. This helps limit the spread of fire and the effects of extreme heat.

The Domestic model is based on the same technology as the professional EV FirePro systems, but has been specifically developed for use in residential settings and small-scale parking facilities.

Technical specifications
The EV FirePro Domestic was developed as a compact fire protection solution for electric vehicles in residential settings. The system is manufactured from 304 or 316 marine-grade stainless steel and designed for long-term use. For coastal areas and other corrosive environments, a version made of 316 marine-grade stainless steel is recommended.
The EV FirePro Domestic can be connected to a separate water supply with a tank and pump. This tank and pump system is not included with the system as standard.
For monitoring and alerting, the system can be integrated with an existing fire alarm system or a building management system (BMS).
The water distribution system is specifically designed for EV incidents and combines direct cooling of the battery pack under the vehicle with lateral cooling to protect surrounding vehicles and structural components.
