Rechargeable batteries, along with their chargers, are securely placed and connected inside the box. Once the door is locked using the pivoted handle, the external power source is activated. The integrated electronic system begins monitoring the charging process, battery status, and the condition of the internal space.

If the sensors detect a temperature rise or the presence of harmful gases, the system triggers immediate visual and audible alarms for safety.

When connected to a WLAN network, the system sends an alert to the in-house alarm system. Simultaneously, an eco-friendly extinguishing and cooling agent is sprayed onto the batteries. The box and gas management system are cooled, preventing any risk of fire or damage to the surrounding environment.

The kit is designed to protect individuals during incidents involving lithium-ion batteries in thermal runaway. It includes the LFIM® Fire Intervention Mask, heat-resistant gloves, and a transparent wall-mounted cabinet for storage.
